A man was killed in an Austin construction accident Thursday. The worker was near a retaining wall and a boulder at the time of the accident. He was crushed when the boulder moved.

Authorities say the man was crushed either when workers were trying to move the boulder, or he fell on his own beneath them.

The incident happened while a house was under construction. The accident happened on a small cul-de-sac, where large boulders are used to keep landslides from happening.

The victim was 38-years-old. No further details about the man were released. The accident will be investigated by local authorities and OSHA.
