Train accident kills four in Thorsby

A breaking news story from My Fox Alabama detailed a terrible train accident that involved a freight train hitting a van at a rural Alabama railroad crossing early Thursday morning.

The collission killed at least four people and injured others, according to the report. This happened near U.S. Highway 31 in Thorsby at about 6 a.m.

CSX Corp. spokesman Gary Sease in Jacksonville, Fla., said the train, with two locomotives and 38 cars, was headed to Louisville, Ky., from Baldwin, Fla.
