A recall has been issued for Best Value park benches that were sold nationwide at Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft stores.  The recalled park benches can become unstable and collapse, causing injury to someone sitting on it.  The benches were sold for $30 from January 2008 to March 2008.

This recall involves Best Value park benches with a green metal frame and wooden slats. The benches measure 50-inches long by 22-inches wide by 30-inches high.

The recall involves about 4,500 park benches.  Jo-Ann is offering a full refund to consumers that purchased the item.  They ask that you stop using the item immediately and return it to the store.  No injuires have been reported.
