Two-car accident injures three

A motor vehicle accident on Alabama Highway 35 Monday left three people injured, one critically, according ot a report from The Daily Sentinel.

The crash, which happened between Scottsboro and Section, blocked traffic in both lanes on Sand Mountain for about one hour. The driver of a 1989 Toyota Corolla was seriously injured when she veered into oncoming traffic and hit a 2001 Chevrolet pickup truck.
