An accident Wednesday involving two vehicles injured a woman, who was treated and released from Vaughan Regional Medial Center, says a reprot from The Selma Times-Journal.

The accident happened at U.S. Highway 80 E. and Old Montgomery Highway, damaging both vehicles: a 2004 Nissa Sentra and a 1986 Toyota Pickup truck.

An Alabama state trooper reports the details of the accident:

"Mrs. Lawson was driving a 2004 Nissan Sentra. Apparently the pickup was traveling westbound approaching the intersection," said Trooper John Reese. "Lawson's vehicle was stopped at the stop sign. Another vehicle went through the intersection before Lawson. She made a right turn into the intersection and was struck in the rear by the vehicle driven by Mr. Smith."
