Early this morning in Montgomery, Alabama, a Greyhound bus carrying 49 passengers and 2 drivers crashed into a car driving in the wrong direction on a divided highway.

The Associate Press reports that the woman driving the car died in the motor vehicle crash, and at least 20 passengers on the bus were injured. There was panic among those on the bus as they frantically tried to exit the smoking vehicle and help those who were hurt. The door to the bus was apparently jammed shut, so people were exiting through the windows, fearing that the bus would explode.

Fortunately, the bus did not explode. Those injured were taken to the hospital, and those who were not injured boarded relief buses to take them to their final destinations.

If you or someone you know has been injured in an accident, it may be wise to speak with an attorney. Click on the form to the right of this page for a free case evaluation from one of our experienced personal injury attorneys.
