An auto accident in Montgomery this morning involving four vehicles sent two seriously injured people to the hospital, according to a report from WSFA 12.

The accident occurred on Vaughn Road and started when a Jeep Grand Cherokee traveling west crossed over the center line of the road and hit a Chevy Astro van. The van then hit a Ford and the Jeep crashed head-on into a Mercury Villager.

The Mercury's driver reportedly sustained life-threatening injuries. The four-vehicle crash caused a back-up on Vaughn Road for a good part of the morning.
