Another tragic teen accident claims lives

Family and friends are mourning after the deaths of three teenagers in a head-on collision last night in Chilton County, Alabama.

The tragic motor vehicle accident occurred on County Road 49 near the County Road 376 intersection at about 8 p.m. A white Oldsmobile car and blue Ford Explorer SUV crashed head-on, killing three teens and injuring at least 4 others, according to a report from the Clanton Advertiser.

The accident, which caused a road block for several hours, is still being investigated. The cause for the collision was not reported.

No matter what the cause, this terrible accident serves as a reminder to both teen drivers and their parents to avoid distractions while driving and always have a designated driver.
